Faces is a surreal short drama film following Aria and AJ, a young, engaged couple planning their wedding. Despite their differing tastes, class, and perceptions, they fell in love. As AJ, a successful writer, works on a pitch that will make him one of the youngest Black show runners in Hollywood, they seem relatively happy. As Aria finds out she’s pregnant and chooses to keep the news a secret from AJ while he bombs his pitch, tensions in their union are further revealed after they run into Bree, one of AJ’s film school classmates, and she accuses him of having raped her years prior. Aria is forced to rethink everything about AJ and her relationship and decide who and what to believe.
